Proposed US-Mexico wall to impinge on movement of animals

President Trump has promised a wall along the US Mexico border to stop illegal immigration. Parts of the border are areas of high biodiversity, such as the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge in Texas. Tim Keitt studies animal movement and says some animals will be impacted highly by a barrier. Animals with small populations which are presently threatened will face increased risk if their rangelands are split by a barrier.
